I was swept away by the countryside charm at José’s place, where he and his wife welcomed us warmly and we enjoyed everything there. The accommodations were the best among all we stayed at, especially the Fischerpfadwanderung with daily changes. The rooms smelled fresh and were well equipped. We’d love to return someday and wish José, his wife, and their wonderful dogs all the best.

We had a very relaxing night here, right on the Fisherman’s Trail with a friendly host. Everything was available, and we could do laundry. It’s a bit far from the city, but a short walk isn’t a problem.

The apartment was well maintained, with all the essentials and comforts for a pleasant stay. The host was very kind and met all our needs. It’s a shame we only stayed one night; I would have liked to stay much longer.

The owner is very kind, and for hikers there’s bottled water in 5 l canisters. The bathroom is outside the room, but I think every room has its own. The common areas are very pleasant, with free coffee and tea. Just a note for hikers: heading away from Carrapateira, the accommodation is in a remote spot 2 km before Vila di Bispo.
