“Compact cabin in a nice location.”
The spot is close to Godafoss and Aldejyarfoss, great for exploring. The tiny kitchenette had a mini fridge, stove, a few pots and pans, a kettle, cutlery, cups, and plates, and tea/coffee were supplied. A small table and two chairs were there, the bathroom was clean, and Wi‑Fi was free. The cabin was a bit too small for two people and luggage, and there was no microwave.

A reasonable distance from Mývatn, but the room feels cramped; the table is tiny and once the two chairs are pulled out there's no space left for a suitcase. Kitchen equipment is very basic and the toilet sits too close to the bed, so privacy is limited.

The spot is amazing, a new and functional property in the peaceful Icelandic countryside just steps from Godafoss. We spent two nights exploring the surroundings, the room is spacious and well organized, and the premium bed is essential for a stop‑over trip. The only downside is that the approach involves some gravel, though the road is well maintained.

The space is small but has everything you need, even for cooking. The room is spotless and the bathroom is very spacious and well equipped. We really enjoyed this isolated, nature‑filled spot surrounded by the river and sheep, whose bleating in the morning makes the atmosphere even more special and relaxing. A small table with two chairs outside would let you better enjoy the view.
