Our welcome was warm and informative. Our room was immaculate with a modern en suite and nice toiletries. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were first rate - something that you don’t always get in hotels! The breakfast was unbelievably good with cereal, yogurts, fruit and lots of hot dishes available. Jeakes House was situated centrally in Rye so it made it easy to go out and explore. Nothing

The atmosphere was cozy, the staff very nice, and the place clean. The bed, though, was very hard.

The location was excellent and the property was a beautiful period building, clean and comfortable. The breakfast, however, was mediocre: a cheap orange juice, weak coffee, a small egg, and pre‑packaged sliced bread. For a 5‑star rating, it could be a lot better.

The room was in the old part of the hotel, and the floor was not level as expected. The facilities were first‑class and breakfast was very good.
