I’ve stayed here before and loved it so much I had to return. After a trip to Sicily, it was a nice break from a long drive and let me try more dishes from their restaurant, another great feature of this spot. Before checking in, I explored the higher mountain area and found several hiking spots I plan to revisit, thanks to tips from my first visit. I also had interesting chats with other guests at breakfast; it was truly a treat.

I favor secluded small towns away from city crowds, and this place was ideal. The award‑winning restaurant served delicious food, and the balcony sunset view offered a lovely glimpse of Mt. Rtna and the island of Vulcano. I’m eager to come back on my motorcycle for a southern road trip.
