“Budget hotel but better than average”

The hotel is close to the central train station and the city centre; it’s within walking distance, and you can also take the tram or train which is less than a 5‑minute walk away, so it’s very convenient for getting anywhere. It’s a budget hotel and offers very good quality for the price. The rooms could be cleaner, but I’m being picky; the toilet roll holder was stuck on and fell off.

“Wer günstig schlafen will den gerne hier aber sonst nicht zu empfehlen”

The room was modern and nice, but the hallway was extremely loud and the quiet hours were not respected; in the courtyard from 4‑6 a.m. the noise level was mega‑loud, making it impossible to sleep. If you’re staying here, you should arrange for security to patrol the hallways and enforce quiet times. The taps were heavily limescale‑covered and sometimes moldy, and the beds were far too hard.

“Hat für mich gut getaugt.”

The location is close to the train station. In my courtyard‑side room, despite the traffic nearby, it was quiet at night even with the windows open. What was especially helpful was that I received important assistance with check‑in both beforehand and on site, and all the details were explained very well. I cannot say otherwise.

The self‑check‑in was convenient and I personally didn’t run into any problems. The room I got was better than the one shown when I booked, especially the bathroom was much more spacious than I expected. The toilet, shower and overall bathroom area were nicely clean. The location is very central but can feel intimidating and unsafe. It was great that there was a whole bottle of water and cups of tea waiting when I arrived. What needs fixing is probably the overall cleanliness of the room, since the carpets were definitely not clean and the curtains were stained, and the walls had sporadic stains. Adding shutters to the windows instead of the outdated blackout curtains would also be appreciated. Finally, it would be better if the electricity was set up so that when you turn off the lights to sleep at night, the plugs stay on, because it’s impossible to charge your phone at night while you sleep the way it is.
