A truly cozy place right in the city center! The host was lovely, offering homemade wine and fruit when we checked in. The hotel has its own garden where you can relax and admire the neighboring cathedral. Rooms are spacious with comfortable furnishings.

The room was decent, the bathroom was new, and it was fairly quiet. The location isn’t in the center but it’s okay—5‑10 minutes on foot. The owner doesn’t speak English and was very rude, which was unpleasant.

We got to the hotel in the late afternoon and the host greeted us at the door of this cozy family-run place right on the edge of town centre. She welcomed us with warmth and made us feel at home immediately. We were allowed to pick our room and she kindly offered us a balcony room without any extra fee. She also took us to a nearby restaurant where the homemade food was wonderful, and since our daughter is vegan, they even cooked a special dish that wasn’t on the menu. That thoughtful touch meant a lot. After a walk in the evening, the host was waiting at reception with a jug of homemade wine and a plate of fruit, then she escorted us up to a lovely terrace overlooking the village church. Sitting there with a glass of that wine and enjoying the peaceful night was such a great experience. We slept soundly. The rooms were spacious, spotless, newly renovated, and well furnished. Vigor is a fantastic place to stay if you want to taste genuine Georgian hospitality. We felt welcomed and cared for throughout our whole visit, and the beautiful surroundings plus the host’s warmth made it truly special. We would definitely recommend Vigor and would love to return someday!

Vigor sits in the most beautiful corner of Sighnaghi. The room faced the garden at the back and was absolutely quiet. It’s spacious and the bathroom has everything you need. The highlight was the owner – she’s incredibly hospitable and generous, so at reception I was given a big fruit plate and on the second day even a bottle of her house wine with unsbi fruit. Will definitely come back!
