We adored everything about this shepherd’s hut; the location is truly peaceful, and we’d recommend it to anyone and definitely return if we’re in the area again. The only tweak that could make it even better is covering the lovely wooden decking so you could sit outside in any weather, but otherwise it’s perfect.

The facilities were perfect—little hob, microwave, fridge, and a bathroom that any hotel would brag about. The views came from Beatrix Potter, and I only wish we had more time to enjoy everything. The host was exceptionally accommodating when we had arrival time issues, making it a place to escape the world and relax.

The farm setting is fantastic with a beautiful outlook. The shepherd’s hut is well equipped, and the hosts are friendly and helpful.

The place was spotless and matched the pictures exactly; the bed was comfy and the outdoor chairs were great. We had every item we could ask for, and the view was soothing, especially watching the sheep settle down at night. The only downside was that the BBQ was supplied without coals, so we had to purchase them ourselves.

This Shepherds hut is a gorgeous spot overlooking fields full of free‑roaming sheep and wild rabbits. Everything we needed was provided. The continental breakfast offered cereal, fresh yoghurt, fruit, orange juice, sourdough, and eggs—absolutely fantastic.
