Very well located, amazing view for dining and rooftop, the family is adorable and helpful, the food is excellent, and you can rent a scooter with or without a driver. It seems to be the best homestay on the island.

We loved this place in Cham – the family was charming and the location was fantastic. The restaurant food was delicious, and we'd definitely come back. The roof terrace is amazing for watching the sunset.

The beds were soft, the food at the property was tasty, staff spoke English, you could borrow almost anything from the host – a motorcycle, a free diving mask – and the host even bought us a ferry ticket to the island; a sunrise/sunset tour was also possible.

We spent two nights at Monkey Homestay on a very quiet island; the homestay was comfortable and well‑located, staff were very helpful, and the food was exceptional.

The homestay sits right next to the disembarkation port; room 5 was basic and very affordable. The island feels good from 14:00 once all boats have left. The air‑conditioner was extremely loud – earplugs were handed out at check‑in and we didn’t understand why at first. Scooter rentals are pricier here than at the port, and the snorkeling trip only takes you to one spot where other boats are and visibility is low – a disappointment.
