Alan was a very welcoming host. The unit was unique and thoughtfully designed. It was very private, and the breakfast was lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable, though the pillows were a bit lumpy and could have been better. Also it’s a shame the bed isn’t positioned to enjoy the fantastic view.

A great stay if you want a relaxing getaway! Alan (and his dogs) is one of the friendliest people I’ve met in New Zealand. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The barn is a lovely creative and unique space. We also enjoyed the company of the host and his friendly dogs. Would definitely stay again.
