“Would not refer anyone to stay here.”
I only took coffee and a piece of fruit, and the room was relatively clean. The dark room light switch by the door didn’t light anything up; it actually powered a wall outlet that had a mini fridge and microwave plugged in, and it also triggered a wall light that was off on its own toggle. Using that switch would turn the two appliances on or off, so I had to shuffle the beds to find a spot for my CPAP machine. While moving the beds I found old food wrappers, and the lamp by the bed had two outlets that didn’t work, forcing me to move furniture again. The furniture looked worn, probably from a remodel that left the rejects. There was no towel bar or place to hang clothes, and the towels were mismatched—one white, one grey‑purple. The shower had almost no water pressure, better outside in the rain, and there was mold along the bottom edge of the walls. A hairdryer was missing, though an iron and board were present. The beds were uncomfortable; two people on one bed both ended up in the middle, so we used two queen beds instead. The pool was closed because of a leak that had been leaking for weeks. Overall, it was run‑down like the rest of the place; next time I’ll stay at a name‑brand hotel and spend a bit more.
