Clean and comfortable room.
The view was amazing, great value for money, clean, comfy, warm, great staff, fabulous plentiful hit and cold breakfast with fresh bread and great assortment of colds.
Breakfast was great and Elisabeth was very friendly.

“Enjoyed the stay at this location.”
Breakfast was excellent, the room was comfortable, and the surroundings were scenic and peaceful, but the room wasn’t as clean as I had expected.
The view was beautiful. The room (11) was very old and worn out, something I’d never experienced before, especially the bathroom. It was tiny, with broken tile corners, an ugly PVC floor, and old, noisy wooden doors throughout the building. Overall, the biggest flaw was the lack of cleanliness—angular, dusty floors, spider webs, etc.
The views from the room to the Jungfrau were spectacular. The breakfast didn’t offer much variety, but everything was very good and the products were of high quality. On the first day we had a problem with the room and went to reception to try to fix it. The receptionist’s attitude was not appropriate, neither in manners nor in the service received, and they offered no solution.
“Great base from which to explore the surrounding areas! Clean, comfy, & a great breakfast.”
I stayed there and it was a solid base for exploring that part of Switzerland. It’s a motel, not a hotel, and you have to climb stairs to the second floor—no elevator, but we’re young so it didn’t bother us. Parking our van was super close. I’m picky about hotels and almost never stay in a motel, yet this place met our cleanliness standards—really exceptional! Checking in was a bit of a hassle because the on‑site kiosk wouldn’t accept our confirmation number. We drove to the main hotel/restaurant, where a very nice lady handled our check‑in and gave us useful local tips. There was no A/C, but even in August we were comfortable with the windows open at night and the fans that came with the room. We liked the little balcony, even if it was just for drying clothes, and the view of a mountain was pretty. We grabbed a delicious late‑night pizza from the restaurant across the street. Breakfast at the motel was amazing; I wish I’d known which type of bread I loved so much each morning—I should have asked! Checking in could have been easier and quicker; it was late enough that we were a bit frustrated having to drive to the main facility. Still, we were grateful to have 3 rooms, especially after the kiosk wouldn’t accept any of our confirmation numbers for some reason. We booked months in advance.
“糟糕的。”
The room was terribly outdated. The shower had wildly inconsistent water pressure, making it uncomfortable, and it was an old‑fashioned tub. Insects were in the room, and the bathroom floor had no drainage. To add to the frustration, although the map indicated the hotel was close, we were told upon arrival that we still had to walk another kilometer. The restaurant next door wouldn’t reheat our food in their microwave. Overall, very disappointing—I’d recommend booking in Interlaken instead.
