The host is very accommodating, the food is tasty and reasonably priced, and the area has interesting spots, making this a great base. The nature was a bit too much this year – many mosquitoes (perhaps not that unusual) and a lot of stray cats begging for food that wouldn’t take no for an answer 😅

The property is spacious and natural, the pool is great and blends beautifully into the surroundings (natural shade). There are many retreat areas (veranda/pavilions…) and a few cats, which aren’t annoying when you dine outdoors. The communal kitchen is very well equipped.

The host is exceptionally kind, and the property is beautiful, maintained with great care and attention to detail. The kitchen is very well‑equipped. The room is nicely decorated, and the bathroom is very beautiful. The photos on Booking show all the rooms together, so it’s impossible to tell from the pictures what the specific room you’re getting looks like. We booked a small room, and it’s hard to feel privacy and quiet because it’s very close to the neighboring rooms. There’s only one window in the bedroom, and it faces the shared terrace.

The cottage we stayed in was incredibly cozy and well equipped. The courtyard is lovely, full of trees, feels cool, and has plenty of kid‑friendly activities. The pool was very pleasant and clean. One evening we ordered food and it was delicious. Overall we managed to relax and have a great time. The cottage had some slight give in places, the floor creaks, the doors don’t shut properly, and there are a few broken tiles, but overall it’s not a huge deal. The biggest issue for me was the situation with the cats – we left the door slightly open during the day and one cat slipped in, climbed onto the dock, and ate from a bowl while wrapped in a blanket. One night I noticed that around one of the cottages there were at least 10‑15 cats waiting for food, which seemed excessive to me.
