A private balcony and a well‑equipped kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, toaster and electric kettle are part of the Vacation Home. The unit offers one bedroom with two beds, accommodating up to four guests, and a separate dining area with a TV. A single private bathroom includes both a bathtub and a shower.
“Really cosy secluded stay in the wilderness”
The setting is beautiful and secluded in the wilderness, and the kitchen is very well equipped. The hot tub was a great addition, and the log burner in the living room made the space feel very cozy with the fire burning. The size and layout were decent. The bedding and towels were fresh and comfortable, and we had a truly great night that makes me want to stay again. However, the whole place could use a refresh: it smelled like a dog on arrival and didn’t feel the cleanest overall. The table and dining area were sticky, the hot tub lid bolts were rusting, and the LED lighting in the bedroom and bathroom didn’t work properly (couldn’t cycle settings with the remote). The torch at the entrance to the path didn’t work, and the heart bunting left up around the property gave the impression it was left by previous guests. We lost all power and water in the morning for half an hour, but the owners fixed it fairly quickly. The bathroom door didn’t close properly. All of these small issues are enough to prevent this place from earning full marks.
