We just came back from Relais Solis in Ponza and had to say that this find in Forna was fantastic—far from the city’s bustle yet with everything nearby, including a mini‑market and a couple of eateries. The apartment was brand‑new and impeccably clean, with a fully equipped kitchenette, even a dishwasher, and a lovely outdoor spot for breakfast. What stole our hearts was the pool area: after a late‑afternoon swim, watching the sunset there was truly grounding. Emilio and Marianna were wonderful—always ready with advice but never intrusive. Given the high‑season rates in Ponza, it’s hard to find a better spot to unwind; we’d definitely return tomorrow. The only downside was the lack of nightlife at night, since the hotel is about 5 km from the center, though that’s easily reached by shuttle or scooter.

I wanted to share my experience at Relais Solis because it was one of the highlights of my time on Ponza. The hotel sits in Le Forna, a spot I loved for being away from the busy port, quiet, and offering a stunning view of Cala Cecata, especially at sunset. Within walking distance there are shops, a supermarket and even a bus stop. The rooms were modern, bright, spotless and cared for meticulously. The real star was the outdoor area, especially the infinity pool with a jacuzzi—taking a dip at day’s end while looking out at the sea was priceless. The management added huge value; Emilio and his team were welcoming, attentive without being intrusive, and gave us great restaurant tips and boat‑trip advice right away, making us feel truly welcome. If you’re after a relaxing spot to enjoy the island’s authentic side, I highly recommend it and hope to return soon.

A perfect 10.0/10. Clean with a great view. The listing didn’t clearly state where the rooms were actually located, so we thought they would be at the Porto.

The location is superb—quiet, authentic, freshly renovated and offers a gorgeous view, while the pool is simply fantastic and the staff are friendly and courteous. No complaints at all.
