The spot is nice and close to the center and events, but the bed is on wheels so it’s a bit wobbly.

The hotel is within walking distance of the canal, packed with restaurants, and near the village center. The room was functional, the bed was good, and there was a fan. Water was available in the room and a communal fridge was on the hallway. Breakfast was excellent, and egg dishes could be freshly prepared on request. A coffee machine is available, and the same restaurant serves a good dinner. Staff speak German and offer plenty of local tips. There are many nice bike paths nearby, and a garage is provided for bicycles. Parking is available for cars. Everything was great. The hotel is on the street.

Very close to bus stops, making public transport a breeze. Getting to old Giethoorn with its bridges, canals, and thatched houses is also easy. Breakfast was good, and the evening meal was freshly made and delicious!

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were excellent. Getting to the rooms required climbing about 18 steps outside, with no rain cover. It wasn’t an issue for us, but could be for others.
