The shower was far too small for a four‑star hotel. Otherwise, so la la. The price for the room was too high.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we felt completely comfortable; Siw even arranged a shuttle down to the town; the buffet was very generous and the view was stunning; there were great play areas for children; everything was wonderful! I think the steam bath didn’t work properly and there was no steam, but otherwise everything was fine.

The breakfasts on the terrace overlooking Lago di Maggiore were excellent, and the staff at the hotel were very friendly; traveling by public transport is free with a Ticino Card, and the bus stop is a 10‑minute walk away; the swimming pool is nice and there are plenty of sun‑beds, though the hotel sits on a hill so it might be hard for older guests or those with mobility issues to walk from the town to the hotel.
