I loved the location and its easy access. When I checked in, the young man with the most beautiful hair was very welcoming, personable, and informed us about all the facilities such as breakfast time, gym, outside area, pool, and the bar located in Mainstay. It was very clean and very quiet. The only negative was that there were no sheets and blankets for the pull‑out. Other than that… EXCELLENT!!

There were a lot of homeless people around the property, and the staff was rude and careless. We were there for my mom’s funeral service; we had 11 rooms for the whole family and needed to extend one room due to the funeral timing. Two staff members were careless; I was just asking to extend one room. I understand if it wasn’t possible, but the way they talked to me was awful—specifically the manager was angry, showed no empathy, didn’t even look me in the eye or listen. She just shook her head and said “no you can’t” without any kind words. As a manager, eye contact and hospitality to customers are essential. She could have said, “I’m sorry for your loss, I understand the situation, but unfortunately we can’t because blah blah blah…,” and that would have been acceptable. And yes, we were a big crowd; at breakfast time the lady was mad we were getting food. We had 11 rooms and all needed to eat before leaving for the cemetery, and the lady was mad we were getting food. I thought breakfast was included with our stay, which was very bad hospitality. The staff was careless, except for the front receptionist who worked at night, who was nice to us; the rest were not.
