“Good location for accessibility. A little less than Minimalist look for sure.”
The price was reasonable, but you get what you pay for: the room was clean and the kitchenette was a cute idea, though the area needs better lighting. The location was great, right off 95, with many other hotels nearby and a town center next door full of restaurants and shops. The staff did their best to handle the overbooking, and we appreciated their willingness to work with us. However, the front desk overbooked rooms, and it took forty minutes to check in. Initially they suggested the Comfort Inn down the street, which had a 3.5 rating, but we refused. We had to find a room twice because the second one was already occupied. There is no elevator, only stairs, and my luggage was heavy. The hallway to the second‑floor rooms had a foul smell, possibly from the carpet or something else; we also saw black garbage bags of trash right across from our room in a small, doorless space, which likely contributed to the odor. The motel‑style accommodations lacked typical amenities: no iron, no ironing board, no hangers in the closet area. We stayed for a short period and felt safe overall, except the back door was unsecured, giving the impression that anyone could walk in.
