We were unable to stay because the house owner cancelled our reservation that day. He said he could not reach our telephone while we were on the plane, so we had too many problems and had to find another property.

Nothing. CCTV throughout the property, very dirty, soft furnishings all had stains on them, bedding stained, dirty bongs and opened bottles of alcohol, fridge in another bedroom full of used men’s toiletries. Various whips / condoms. think people probably live here, didn’t stay here left and went to a hotel. I spoke to the hotel nearby and they said “this is indeed a scam. We often get people coming over to our hotel asking if we know anything about it. We have had people go in and then after going out to do some stuff being locked out and losing their suitcases. We highly recommend finding a different place to stay in Amsterdam”

Nothing. This apartment was horrific. Do not book. It was filthy, stained, flies in the blender, marijuana residue on the sides, dirty tissues, cigarette burns all over the sofa, bin bags and Chinese menus over the windows, and it stunk of smoke. There was a broken window with a ladder propped up against it. Yacob messaged to say he had lost all my details and wasn’t sure which property I had booked. The lady who handed me the keys has a very sexually explicit whatsapp photo. The whole thing was dodgy from start to finish. I paid via bank transfer and lost all my money. I was promised a refund as I could not continue to stay there, and I have received nothing. What’s worse is that couldn’t care less. DO NOT DO IT!
