“Angenehmes Ambiente in super Lage”

The room was beautifully decorated and situated in an excellent spot (two churches across the street, the Tiber and Campo de' Fiori just around the corner) – we reached all sights on foot. Breakfast at the neighboring Caffe Peru was authentically Italian (one coffee plus two pastries or a hearty bite). As I don’t drink coffee, I had a glass of water instead. Experiencing the atmosphere there was great. In the evenings the “pub noise” is just part of the vibe (vivere la vita!) and was inaudible with the windows closed. Contacting Barbara was very pleasant and friendly.

“Bon emplacement”

The location is great; everything is walkable and public transport is nearby. A coffee, tea, cakes, and a fridge and hairdryer are available. Our room faced the courtyard, so it was very quiet, but the toilet ventilation was noisy and kept running even at night. You can dine at the downstairs bar in the evening. We didn’t expect this type of accommodation. There are three rooms, and you can’t see the owners, which feels a bit impersonal and somewhat disappointing. Breakfast at the adjacent bar is very light—just a coffee and a pastry—and the reception is mixed. We had to pay an extra fee for hot chocolate, but after bringing it to the owner’s attention she kindly refunded us. A small suggestion: if staying multiple nights, change the towels because with the bathroom layout they don’t dry properly.
