We LOVED our stay at El Barrio Lanna and can’t wait to come back. The staff were all so friendly, especially Tontoey Srisurong who went above and beyond to make our stay special. The room was absolutely beautiful and so comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious… Thank you for a wonderful stay in Chiangmai 🙏❤️. I didn’t like that I couldn’t stay longer 🤣 I look forward to my return 🙏

El Barrio Lanna sits right in the old city, within easy walking distance of historic wats, restaurants, and more. The rooms have a lovely interior design that blends traditional Thai elements with a modern feel. We had a balcony with a great view of the mountains. The pool area is a central gathering spot and looks beautiful. The buffet breakfast was brilliant and substantial. The staff were friendly and helpful. The double bathroom doors are wooden in a Thai style, which creates echoing banging noises that can be heard from other rooms and floors, disturbing my sleep because I’m a light sleeper; this might not bother everyone. I also suggest offering standard “farang” tea bags (like English breakfast or Liptons) alongside Jasmine.

The rooms were great, the bed was super quality. The breakfast could have been more continental; there wasn’t much choice for vegie options.

The location and the staff were friendly. The water pressure was either too high or too low.

Nice bed, good air‑conditioning, good breakfast. It would be nice to have more space at the pool.
