The house had a wonderful, warm atmosphere. The room was cozy and the breakfast included fresh, hot rolls. However, the décor felt a bit dated and the rooms still showed the building’s former purpose.

The old retirement home, abandoned for years, has been turned into a charming RB&B. It’s located close to the water, though it rained all weekend, which is unavoidable. The interior is cozy, with furniture assembled in various colors and shapes. Breakfast was good, offering several options. The room was a bit chilly, there was no internet connection, and no TV.

The location was a bit farther from the E75 road than the description suggested, but it was an exciting place never visited before. The description also didn’t make clear that it was hostel‑style accommodation. We stayed in a large two‑bedroom unit with a bathroom and laundry, which was great. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, though it was obvious that a renovation would be welcome. The view from the window looked out onto the lake and the courtyard—nice! The host was fantastic, cheerful, helpful, energetic, and immediately found solutions to any problem. Breakfast was excellent, with homemade pastries and pillows that tasted great.
