The location is good, the price is competitive, and basic amenities like AC, hot water, Wi‑Fi, a table, and a work area are available. The old family that runs it is welcoming, so it’s not bad to stay. However, it was a bit dirty – there was a lot of dust on dishes, the table, and shelves, and the mosquito net was disgustingly dirty. Another annoying issue was that the floor was painted with something that left a color on my feet. A weird incident happened with an old lady who woke me up by knocking on the door for no reason.

The stay in Weligama was perfect. It’s just steps from the beach, many restaurants, the bus station, and shops. A really kind couple runs the place and treats you like family, doing everything to keep guests safe and happy. I enjoyed coffee and tea with them in the morning, and one day they offered to take me to a nearby temple, which was amazing. The room was quiet, spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a nice mosquito net, a good shower, strong AC, and solid Wi‑Fi. I appreciated having a kettle to make tea. Communication was easy and they were always ready to help. There’s a nice balcony where I watched the sunrise. I’d stay here again. Istuti!

The place is good, with air conditioning, a fan, and a few dishes. The cleanliness needs more attention: dust off the dishes if they’re unused for a long time, wash the tiles and clean the drains in the bathroom. There are no insect control supplies or fumigators.
