I stayed in a clean room with tidy bathrooms and managed to get a good deal in Paris. The area is safe, though there are many adult-oriented shops nearby, and both bus and subway options make getting around easy. I could drink water or juice anytime, and there are burger joints and Monoprix close by, so food was never an issue. The small double room didn’t allow a large carry‑on to lay flat on the floor. If a scratch appears after checkout, I’d have to pay a 50‑Euro deposit for four nights, or I could choose to pay a fixed 20‑Euro fee.
