The place was spotless, the breakfast tasty, and Pau, Flor and Gachi were super friendly—made me feel right at home and gave great tips on what to do around town. The only downside was that, being low season in San Rafael, I was mostly alone in the hostel; that’s more about the timing than the place itself. Overall, 10/10—comfort was top, but I missed the chance to meet other travelers.

The price was unbeatable, the rooms were huge, and even during peak season you could just sit back and read or relax without feeling cramped. Honestly, there was nothing I didn’t like.
