The view was the most beautiful thing, the family was incredibly sweet and authentic, and the gentleman spoke perfect English. We had everything we needed, the rooms were large, breakfast was delivered to the room, and for the first time I experienced a massage in the room. I absolutely recommend it—no problems at all. The gentleman even helped us carry our backpacks to the next accommodation, and we could rent a scooter to explore further. We can arrange a trip to Gili. Thanks, Made.

“Una casa en un lugar precioso”

The house sits amid rice paddies with a view of the volcano, absolutely stunning. Getting there isn’t easy; you need a car or motorcycle. The staff were consistently excellent, even taking my kids fishing. They brought us breakfast and offered a Balinese dinner they cooked themselves. It was a memorable experience. The only downside was that the listing said the house had two rooms, but it actually has one huge room and a kitchen‑space without air conditioning where they put a mattress on the floor. We moved the mattress into the large room and the four of us slept there.

“Immersed in green rice fields and nature”

Breakfast was fresh and made from rice grown in the surrounding fields. The English was very good and the conversations were great. The staff were always smiling and very accommodating. The rice field and volcano views are simply breathtaking. The top terrace is perfect for sunrise yoga with no light pollution. It’s truly peaceful, calming—just you and nature. Gojek works well here, unlike in Amed.
