At least it’s really close to the Riverwalk. Don’t use the parking lot; the vagrants there will mug you. The view from your window is directly under the riverwalk, so you see asphalt and buildings instead of water. Even after confirming with the hotel, they didn’t realize two rooms were booked.

The spot was spot on for our need to hit the Riverwalk fast, and the lobby’s Reunion coffee shop was top‑tier. The mini‑fridge in the room was a cute touch. Cleanliness was solid, but the bathrooms looked ancient and worn. The “artwork” on our room’s wall—egg‑carton‑shaped cups screwed into plaster—was literally falling off, exposing the screws, and you could pull them straight out. The elevator doors were grimy, and the pool was a nightmare: only 4 feet deep, no visibility of our feet, and littered with dead skin and plenty of dead bugs. On a Sunday at six in the morning, jackhammers on the opposite side of the building woke us up.

The breakfast was a standard experience for hotel, but it was satisfactory, our server was professional, the meal was pricy. Approximately $55 (including tip) I loved the historical building and its surroundings, it made for some unique photography. I’ll say 1 thing that could be impactful, whomever did the photography for the hotel images that are used online was an incredible photographer. The hotel looked like the images yet without the shine & cleanliness. The owner of the hotel should highly consider a renovation and expanding the cleaning staff. I transferred hotels for the next night I stayed in San Antonio to stay in cleaner and more up to date sleep accommodations. The staff was pleasant but not overly hospitable
