The hotel is close to the station and, for an Atami property, offers a reasonable price with breakfast included; however, when I returned this year the check‑in had been switched to a self‑service system. Although the staff explained it, their tone felt very cold and I was left flustered trying to figure it out. Later, before check‑in I left some luggage, realized I needed to retrieve it, and when I asked for help the employee’s expression and gaze made me feel quite unwelcome—unfortunately, it was just one staff member, not the whole team. I also didn’t know that parking before check‑in incurred an extra charge; I only found out an hour before arrival and wish I’d been informed earlier.
