The location and view were good. The cool room on the same floor had a noisy compressor.

The location right by the lake is a plus, and the housekeeping was very thorough. Unfortunately, the first‑floor room feels very old‑fashioned. The steep staircase isn’t separated from the ice‑cream café below or its toilets, and the door is just a standard room door—no safety at all. The TV only offers public legal channels and is far too small. Evening noise from the terrace below is extreme, and the morning deliveries and café staff preparations push the noise level right to the limit. Hot water takes 3‑5 minutes to arrive.

Great view straight onto the lake. The third‑floor room under the roof has no elevator, no air conditioning, and the furniture feels worn. There’s no table, only a refrigerator that hums all night. It’s okay as a student dorm, but not suitable as a hotel room.

The room was roomy with spectacular views over Lake Constance (Bodensee). The property sits on the waterfront promenade in the centre of Uberlingen. The hotel rooms are above an ice‑cream café, but have a separate entrance from a side street. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the room was serviced daily. I can’t think of any negatives.
