The owner was very kind and helped me with transportation, but there was only one shower and one toilet.

The room was clean, the mattress comfortable, and the space was relatively large. It was a great choice far from the city center, with nearby restaurants and a supermarket, offering excellent value. If I visit Yogyakarta again, I’ll definitely choose Kamala House. The only downside is the lack of a hair dryer, which would have been nice.

This place is wonderful, away from the city chaos, reachable by grab scooter. The room is clean, with large wardrobes and a privacy tent for the bed. The living area is great for working. I recommend it. The bar outside the street serves excellent coffee and cake; the banana cake is a must-try. It’s called Fore. The only issue is that I personally dislike manual showers because they feel unhygienic; everyone touches intimate parts with the water hose. I prefer fixed wall showers.

The room was clean and the staff were friendly. Directly opposite, there’s a huge supermarket where you can get almost everything, and there’s also a very good restaurant right next to it. The shared workspace is good. The location is quite central, which you know before booking.

The hostel is clean and offers a comfortable working/communal space. It’s near a big busy supermarket and many restaurants. However, the supermarket is noisy every day, and the hostel uses automatic keys that make noise each time you open the door and lockers. It’s not within walking distance of any tourist attraction, a bit outside the main area.
