“Beautiful location but needs TLC”
The hotel is set in a beautiful old mansion with lovely historic details, located in a quiet local neighbourhood that you hardly notice, and the restaurant next door is very convenient; it’s a walk from the tourist area, which gave us a more local vibe that we enjoyed. However, the whole place needs some TLC, the carpets are worn, there is no shower—just a bathtub to wash in, which isn’t very comfortable, the bed is very hard, and breakfast was quite poor compared to what the kitchen can produce at other times of the day.
