The place was very peaceful, but the whole surrounding area—leisure zones, gardens, pool—was completely neglected and looked nothing like the ten‑year‑old photos used in the ads, which feels misleading; the breakfast was weak and tiny, with very limited choices and stale bread every day.

The décor looked nice and the site had a lot of potential, yet it was severely under‑maintained. The experience was very disappointing and the value for money was poor. Breakfast was a major let‑down; in Alentejo I expected regional products like local ham, cheeses, and other local goods, but we only found supermarket cheese and ham—completely out of place for the price paid. The pool was also lacking: it was full of leaves, had a greenish tint, and seemed to be losing water. We even had to clean it ourselves to use it with our family. Access to the pool was almost blocked by vegetation that clearly needed care. It’s a shame because with proper maintenance the pool view could be fantastic. The barbecue was rusted and had spider webs, giving a general sense of neglect. Another key point: the photos on Booking didn’t match the real state of the facilities. That mismatch made the experience even more frustrating. I felt the price I paid didn’t match the conditions at all and left feeling quite deceived. The only real positive was the staff, who were friendly and helpful. I want to give a special shout‑out to Mr. Carlos for his friendliness and professionalism. In short, the place has potential but urgently needs maintenance, cleaning, and a significant improvement in value for money.
