Nestled in a historic country house on a 1,200 m² estate in De Steeg, Landgoed Rhederoord borders the Veluwe and offers sweeping views of the Ijsselvallei. Each room, including the coach house, features private bathrooms, TV, free Wi‑Fi, and many provide balconies or bathtubs. The on‑site restaurant serves organic, locally sourced produce, and Arnhem’s shops and restaurants lie just a 15‑minute drive away.

The location was stunning, the gardens were well kept and you could almost walk straight into the forest; it was a fantastic experience that I wholeheartedly recommend, with very friendly staff and overall a top spot, though occasionally there’s a small obstacle to keep in mind.

The spot is great and very quiet, the breakfast buffet is also very good, but it feels overpriced for what it offers; the pictures on booking lure you into thinking it’s high value for money, yet you won’t sleep in the manor shown in the photo but in a different building. The room comfort was decent but not outstanding, with broken lamps, no sound‑proof door to block the corridor, doors slamming from neighbors, laminate floors and no carpets to make it cozier, and while the renovation is recent, the comfort choices aren’t high‑end.
