The location is charming, and it's important to know the details of each room because they vary a lot. The staff and hosts were very nice, but our bathroom was tiny.

I was 82, lugging a heavy suitcase, and my room was on the 3rd floor—something that wasn’t mentioned. I arrived late, got in, but nobody was there to explain anything about the place. The room had absolutely no heat, and the outside temperature was in the 40s, so my room was the same.

The place was beautiful and the staff were friendly. We had to find a place to stay after our ferry back to Cape Cod was canceled, and Cliff Lodge offered the best price on the island, so we were very pleased with everything there.
