The place looked pretty run‑down, except for the church that was surprisingly nice. The towel was tiny—just enough for two people. The bed creaked with every move, and the breakfast was super minimal.

Staying in a monastery was a unique experience. The room was big, clean, and had a garden view. The price even included a tour of the abbey, so you should plan to spend a good amount of time there. Breakfast was solid, with both savory and sweet options, plus water, juices, and more. The downside? The beds in our room squeaked loudly with any little movement—probably just loose screws—and the bells kept ringing at night, so earplugs were a must.

The rooms were spacious and the location was quiet, which made for a peaceful stay.

The restaurant was only average—nothing special.

The atmosphere and location were great, but the service staff were almost non‑existent.
