The service was very friendly. The homemade meals were delicious, and everything was top‑level. The location is superb; if someone is looking for silence and peace, this is the right place.

Our host welcomed us warmly. Even though we didn’t speak Polish, we managed to communicate in German. She recommended excellent local activities (kayaking spots, hikes, etc.). The breakfast was delicious and can be adapted for vegans, featuring fresh garden vegetables and homemade hummus. The village of Gorklo is picturesque, with a nice lake access.

The room with a bathroom was clean, a bit cramped but manageable for a few days. The owner recommends local tourist spots. The fridge in the room made a loud clanking noise. The “public kitchen” is actually where the owner and staff cook for pensioners. They’re happy to prepare breakfasts for an extra fee. You can’t freely use the kitchen at any time. Everything is far away. The beach with a pier shown in the photos is about 200 m from the building, not on its premises. You have to walk down the street, and renting kayaks at the pier costs extra.

A peaceful, local vibe that helps slow down the rush of fast life and work. We rested and recharged. The weather was beautiful, which naturally added to the overall feel, but regardless of it, we felt safe and free. The surroundings were lovely, and the hosts were helpful, open, and empathetic. The breakfasts were tasty, homemade, and varied. The rooms were neatly arranged and clean. We strongly recommend this place – it’s worth a visit. Thank you.
