“There for three days for a wedding and my birthday. The mansion was a highlight with its character.”
The room was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped, and breakfast was consistently good.

I loved it ❤️❤️❤️❤️. It’s a historic gem! I can’t wait to find another reason to return.

I stayed at this historic spot and the bed was comfy, the bathroom was spacious, ceilings were high, and the garden view was peaceful. The only hiccup was figuring out the old‑style radiator for heat.

The room was nice and large, and the bathroom was very nice. However, the signage was horrible—both for finding the parking lot amid construction and for locating the room.

Set in a unique historic property with a fascinating past, you can walk around the grounds and explore the building, which is a plus after a long drive. The staff are gracious and welcoming. The room is spacious and comfortable, very quiet and calm—so nice! Breakfast was filling, and the overnight stay felt like a mini retreat. The downside is that many restaurants in Onieda close by dinner time on Sundays; we brought our own picnic dinner and ate in the lounge, so the problem was solved.
