The bed was really comfortable, everyone was very friendly, the food was delicious, and the pool was great. LaLa helped me a lot with transportation to my next destination and later that day checked that I had arrived safely. It was a wonderful welcome in beautiful Sri Lanka.

The staff were friendly, but the music was blasting so loud that I could hear it through the thin walls, and the towels were not clean.

The staff were quite pleasant and there was an evening program. Breakfast wasn’t included in the price, and because the hostel was under renovation my room didn’t have a locker.

The spot in Negombo is great for a night’s stay, the restaurant is tasty and the staff are super friendly and well‑organized, and the pool right next to the property works fine. We ran into a hiccup with our roommate: she set the AC to 30°C and left the remote in her bed.

The staff are very nice, the outdoor area is pleasant, and having access to another hotel’s pool is a real bonus; we were moved to an air‑conditioned room because the dorms are under renovation. The downside is that there’s not much to do nearby, the restaurant is pricey even though it’s good, and for those who want quiet, the evening buzz from dining, the bar, and concerts keeps going until 1 a.m.
