The check‑in came with an 80‑yuan voucher for the coffee shop downstairs and a discount for guests, which was a nice touch, and the bread was so good I ate it for two days straight. The room felt spacious and cozy, and a folded towel shaped like an elephant was already on the bed, instantly lifting my mood. It was less than a minute’s walk to the subway, incredibly convenient. The sink’s drain seemed broken and had to be lifted for the water to flow, and the shampoo and body wash had no labels, so I had to call the front desk to find out which was which.

The place is in a handy spot, but the scent of moldy wood was overwhelming. The bathroom floor, including the shower area, was wooden and gave off a stale, moldy odor, worsened by water backing up on the floor. There were a lot of house rules—no staining sheets or towels, don’t lose the card keys, a 1000‑Baht deposit, or leave your passport with them—which felt intimidating and unwelcoming.

The mattress was comfy. Nothing else to note.

Everything was generally pleasant: the staff were friendly, the room was nice, and the space was clean and tidy. I could upgrade to any available room. It was a bit noisy around midnight, but if you check in early you can ask for a room change.
