We stayed only two days but left with a heart full of memories; the host welcomed us with rare kindness and generosity, treating us like family and doing everything to make our stay unforgettable. Our kids were thrilled and loved every moment. Thanks also to everyone in the village for their smiles and warmth. We recommend this place with closed eyes to anyone wanting to experience Sri Lanka differently, with the heart. We’re leaving, but a part of our hearts stays here.

The accommodation is in the countryside, quiet with animals all around. The monk who runs the place is very kind, as are the others—all are benevolent people. Comfort is minimal but sufficient, and it’s clean. The nearby village folks are also very welcoming. You can learn a lot about Sri Lankan culture and Buddhism; it’s truly fascinating and the spot is perfect for recharging in nature. I highly recommend it.

The place sits in a jungle cave, perfect for escaping the hustle. The surroundings give total solitude, and the locals are very friendly with delicious food. I liked the minimalistic vibe, but that’s something to think about before booking. Nothing else to complain about – it was fantastic.

“Absolute peace and serenity ❤️”

The peace and serenity were incredible, heart‑felt and soul‑soothing, surrounded by forest sounds and wind. No other spot compares to this spiritual, tranquil experience. Just a heads‑up: the facilities are very basic, but that’s part of the charm, so it’s more of a compliment than a gripe.

Staying here felt like a rare gift; the atmosphere was truly wonderful. My rock‑embedded room was spotless, and the hospitality was warm and heartfelt. The food was excellent, leaving nothing unsatisfied. I feel lucky to have been here, and next time I visit Sri Lanka I’ll stay longer than a single night.
