We felt right at home thanks to the warm, family‑like vibe and staff who were constantly checking on us. The restaurant served delicious dishes and even let us try a different menu for dinner. The hotel sits a bit off the main road, but an 8‑minute drive got us to the beaches, and having a car made everything easy.

The view from the Rancho Superior is definitely a highlight. However, there’s no proper front desk – everything is handled out at the ranch, which feels odd for a hotel. The pool also needs attention; the circulation and filtration system wasn’t running, so the water didn’t look right.

I was misled about the location – it sits on a rough 10‑minute dirt road and isn’t even ten minutes from the beach, despite the “ocean view” claim. The pool is just a lap lane, not a real swimming pool, and there’s no shopping or a place to walk the dog nearby. When I raised these issues, they refused any refund.
