Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich. Der Check-In muss man aber selbst erledigen. Die Lage ist gut. Das Parkieren ist etwas entfernt vom Eingang. Das Zimmer war soweit sauber (was ich aber auch erwarten darf) und das Bett bequem. Das Doppelzimmer ist klein und es hat nur eine Schiebetüre zum sehr kleinen Badezimmer. Die Kirchenglocken ab 7.00 Uhr sind sehr laut. Das Frühstück wird mit einem vom Gastgeber zusammengestellten Angebot serviert - wir wurden zuvor nicht gefragt, was wir gerne zum Frühstück essen. Ein Buffet wäre besser, denn auf der Etagère und im Brotkorb hatte es Lebensmittel, die wir gar nicht essen. Eventuell wäre eine Speisekarte, die man am Vorabend ausfüllen könnte, passender, wenn der Gastgeber Essensreste vermeiden möchte. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt meiner Meinung nach nicht

The rooms are very pretty and modern, and the slanted roof gives a particularly cozy feel. The hotel/pension is run by Fr. Stukker (who is apparently affectionately called “Stukki” as we read) and her colleague. Breakfast is excellent, fresh and of the highest quality, with a strong emphasis on sustainability – for example, the Étagère isn’t overloaded; instead Fr. Stukker offers to let guests request refills. Even a single egg is served on request and to taste. Everything is done for the guest’s well‑being. In about 10 minutes on foot you’re in Sarnen to shop, linger, and enjoy.

The location is quiet and the breakfast is excellent; everything was fine and I’d gladly return.
