“I would not stay at this hotel again.”

The location suited our needs. The shower had great pressure and quality, and the bed was comfortable. However, the room was small and the king‑size bed took up most of the space. There were only two drawers, a small wall‑mounted rod, and a rack. With two of us it felt crowded. Also, there were only two electrical outlets: one was a hard‑wired extension cord, the other a 6‑way outlet with a power strip plugged in. That setup seems questionable for code compliance. The electrical setup and breakfast were problematic. The booking promised an included breakfast, usually with eggs, bacon, or sausage. Instead we got only waffles, packaged oatmeal, cereal, and yogurt. At over $100 a night you expect a decent breakfast.

“Great location if you’re climbing mt Elbert, but it wasn’t a great stay”

On the second night we stayed in a different room that didn’t have the same smell as the first night. Breakfast was not great and was served in a basement‑like dungeon.

I stayed in a noisy spot, and the breakfast was pretty bad, while the overall vibe was nasty and smelled awful.

The room was clean with nice bedding and pillows, the building looks good from the outside but the interior feels old and could use updates; inside the room had new carpet and drapes and was otherwise fine. It’s a bit cramped but the refrigerator and microwave are handy. The staff were friendly. There are stairs (no elevator) to the rooms and breakfast area, so it’s not suitable for people with mobility issues. Breakfast was adequate with a waffle maker, yogurt, dry cereal, oatmeal, etc.

“Standardmotel, etwas teurer.”

The room was large, the beds were good, the towels were clean enough, and the standard breakfast was fine. The place was quiet, but you can hear guests on the floor above.
