The place was simple, clean, and cozy, with an amazing view of the wave. Franck, the host, was absolutely lovely and helped me a lot during my visit. He’s a lively, charming person, and his dad Titus was also very friendly. I highly recommend staying here with this family.

The location right by the sea is fantastic, the family is super friendly and ready to help with food, a beer, and transport. There’s a nice balcony. The rooms are basic, but the beds are very good. Everything is available at very reasonable prices: cheap!

Frank and his family are incredibly warm, welcoming, and kind. The spot couldn’t be more perfect – the view was stunning, and it’s just a minute’s walk from the local restaurants, which are very good. The only noise comes from the ocean and the occasional dog. The bed and pillows were wonderful, and the linen was clean. Towels are available on request, though you might need to ask twice to get a good one. It’s clean enough but really needs a good clean to be considered clean – debris under the bed, cobwebs, the bathroom floor needs a good scrub. The hammock could use a wash too. The balcony is great, with a couple of chairs and a table – it’s rickety (actually quite charming) but you share it with other guests, and it seems everyone smokes right outside your bedroom. The Wi‑Fi is patchy, but that might just be the end room where I was, as there were a couple of digital nomads working further along. This is NOT a criticism, it’s a heads‑up: there is no sink in the bathroom (you have to use the bum gun or the shower to wash); there is no top sheet for the bed, so pack a sarong or similar. This is a great little good‑value place to stay in an amazing location.

Frank and his family are great hosts; they make you feel very comfortable and welcome. The location is unreal, right in front of the break walk onto the reef, and you’re in the action. We stayed two weeks and wish we could have stayed longer.
