“Good location, value for money”

Although the motel isn’t in the city centre, it’s only a short walk to the town centre and clubs, sits on a main road that’s quiet because it’s only local traffic, and there’s a great coffee shop right across the street for morning coffee and pastries. The building feels a bit tired, like many small‑town motels, but that didn’t spoil our stay and it was good value for the price.

“It sufficed for what we expected and needed for the night; a simple motel.”

The location is close to town and the river, parking is ample, and the room can fit a family of four. The furniture is dated, the fold‑out sofa was uncomfortable and dusty, the headboards and corners were dusty, and the microwave hadn’t been cleaned. We booked for four and had to ask for the sofa to be made or for bedding; the staff made the bed but only used a thin blanket that didn’t keep my 1.85 m husband warm, and the main bed only had a bed‑cover with no blanket.

“It was a bed for 1 night”

The hotel’s proximity to the doctors’ office was convenient for our appointments, but the room was situated near a busy road, which made it noisy.
