The location was great and the owners were quick to respond, but the staircase had very high steps, which is common in the Philippines.

Conveniently positioned just a stone's throw from shops and the beach, yet there was a brief power outage—typical during rainy weather in the Philippines—and it lasted less than an hour.

“Never again”

The room was spotless, the air conditioning was newer, and the shower delivered hot water reliably; it sits just across the street from the beach, and for the price it was acceptable. However, there was no additional security for the door, the lock set was loose, the sink tap was wobbly and I worried it might break, supplies were nonexistent—only one roll of toilet paper and no dishcloths—and it was easy for them to ask for a small security deposit. Stools were missing from the nightstands, and the listing should clearly state that the place supplies absolutely nothing; I would never stay there again.
