This was the second best experience on my Portugal trip. Everything was basically perfect. It’s rare to find a city so close and yet so pleasant to be in, with shops, a big supermarket, restaurants, cafés, and bus connections all right nearby. I was even lucky to snag a free parking spot just around the corner. The keyless entry system is a great feature—just make sure your phone battery doesn’t die! The downside is the usual street noise in a big city; you can only sleep soundly at night with the window open.

A clean and spacious room close to the old town, with a comfortable wide bed. Traffic noise can be a bit annoying and disruptive.

The room was clean and comfortable, and as a solo traveler I felt safe. The access code for the apartment caused a few issues, but they were resolved quickly.

A small but cozy room in a great location; everything is within walking distance and the metro station is close by. It’s a shame there’s no TV or air conditioning in the room.
