Our room at Elion was clean, the AC (crucial in summer Rome) worked great, the large double bed (1.80 m wide) was comfortable, and the furniture—chairs, armchairs, tables—was fine. The shower had three settings (hand shower, waterfall, jets—really cool!). Our window faced the large courtyard, so the room was quiet and shaded. The fridge in the room was very quiet, plus a kettle and an espresso machine (which we didn’t use). There was also a tea bar with a wide selection. The host was very nice, helpful, and all paperwork was handled smoothly; extra requests were gladly fulfilled. The “Bologna” metro station was 2 minutes away, so we were quickly in the city, and the “Tigre” supermarket was 5 minutes on foot. I would have liked two separate sets of sheets, but there were blankets, so we managed. The temperature control and shower water pressure were a bit tricky—probably a house issue, not specific to our unit.

The lady at the property is very kind. We were very happy, the room was near the metro station, had AC, and the area was quiet. We’ll definitely return.

The room was spacious and pleasant, and the owner was very kind and helpful. The location is strategic for visiting Rome: just a few metro stops from the Colosseum and also served by surface transport (for example, line 62 goes straight to the center and to St. Peter’s).
