The staff were friendly and the rooms clean, but we asked for a room with two beds and the first one we got had only one; I had to fight to get two beds, the pool was under construction (we had specifically booked for a pool), and a huge outdoor concert outside our room one night made it hard to sleep.

We loved the location, the staff, the breakfast, the cleanliness, and the overall atmosphere—a great place to stay! Parking is in a safe underground garage, but there are limited spaces, so parking is not guaranteed.

The staff went above and beyond, especially Chuck and Fransa (sp), answering every question and meeting every need. The hotel sits among great restaurants, and getting to events was easy with Lyft. We spent a day at the Obama Museum, saw Navy Pier, took a Fly Over of Chicago, and tried Virtual Reality at the Aquarium. The bathroom door was sticky; it wouldn’t close and had to be pulled from both sides to open.

The room was roomy and cozy. There was no complimentary water in the room, and breakfast came with plastic cutlery. The AC was loud in the room and even louder in the hallway. Paying over $400 for the room didn’t feel worth it.
