The host Matilda was available and responsive via WhatsApp. The place was clean and the apartment was new. There were coffee pods, small water bottles, and daily pastries. Daily housekeeping, changing of sheets and towels in the middle of the stay. The terrace was pleasant and the air conditioning was quiet. Parking was easy in nearby streets. There were no train noises at night. The ground floor was secure, with a grille door before entering the accommodation. The only drawback was that the location was farther from the center, which we knew when booking; it’s a trade‑off. The apartment is a few minutes on foot from the train station, very convenient for visiting Cinque Terre. It is about twenty minutes on foot to the restaurant district, the route is safe, and parking in the center is difficult, whereas here it’s easy.
